Christie and Juliano’s wedding came together rather spontaneously, and we actually met for the first time on the wedding day itself. But from the very first moment it felt veryeasy and natural. They are such sweet and kind couple and that energy carried through the entire day.
The morning started with the ‚getting-ready‘ at the beautiful Hotel Vitznauerhof by the Lake Lucerne. Outside it was raining, which changed the plans a little, but it also created a very calm and intimate atmosphere. Instead of having their first look outside, Christie and Juliano decided to see each other inside the hotel. It turned into a really emotional and quiet moment, just the two of them before everything began.
And honestly, the two of them looked absolutely incredible together – like a couple straight out of a wedding magazine. Christie looked so beautiful in her gorgeous dress, and Juliano couldn’t stop smiling when he saw her for the first time.
Afterwards everyone took the bus to Lucerne for the ceremony at the beautiful Franziskanerkirche. The church is truly stunning and holds a special family connection for Juliano, as his parents were married there many years ago. That made the ceremony even more meaningful and emotional.
Once the ceremony finished, the entire wedding party walked together through the old town of Lucerne and across the famous Kapellbrücke towards the harbor. Walking there with all the guests felt like a celebration in itself.
At the harbor the next highlight of the day was waiting: a boat that brought everyone across Lake Lucerne back to Vitznau. The rain had mostly passed by then, and the boat ride surrounded by the mountains was such a beautiful and unique way to travel together with all their guests.
Back at the hotel the celebration continued with an incredible group of family and friends who had traveled from the US and different parts of Europe. Christie and Juliano were surrounded by truly amazing guests, and the whole day felt full of warmth, laughter, and genuine joy.
It was one of those weddings where everything just comes together naturally — wonderful people, meaningful places, and a celebration that everyone will remember for a long time. I feel incredibly grateful that I could be part of their special day.
